About Jay Bruce
Three-time All-Star Jay Bruce was one of the best power hitters in baseball over his 14-year career.Bruce also won two Silver Slugger Awards and finished in the top ten in MVP voting twice.Overall, he has had five 30 homer seasons.Bruce originally came up with the Cincinnati Reds in 2008 after being the Baseball America Minor League Player of the Year in 2007.That season, he went all the way from the Reds Single-A club to Triple-A.Bruce was selected 12th overall out of West Brook High School in the 2005 MLB Draft.
