James Brown Biography

James Brown has been associated with the NFL as one of the top studio hosts in sports for decades. Brown has hosted The NFL Today on CBS since 2005 and Inside the NFL since Inside the NFL since 2008. He has also been a fill-in anchor for the CBS Evening News since 2014. Brown has a long association with CBS, having originally joined them as a commentator and play-by-play broadcaster on NFL, NBA and college basketball games in the 1980s. From 1994-2005, he worked for FOX as the host of FOX NFL Sunday. Brown comes from a basketball background, having been an All-Ivy League performer at Harvard University. In 2016, he was recognized by the Pro Football Hall of Fame with the Pete Rozelle Radio-Television Award.
