About Isaac Redman
Isaac Redman is a former running back for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the NFL. Redman attended Bowie State University, an NCAA Division II college. Redman finished his collegiate career as Bowie State’s all-time rushing leader with 3,300 yards. He also set BSU records in single game rushing yards, single game rushing attempts, single season rushing attempts, longest run from scrimmage and single season rushing yards. During the 2009 NFL Draft, Redman went undrafted, but he signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers as an undrafted free agent on April 28, 2009. Redman was waived during the final cuts of the 2009 season, but he was resigned to the practice squad. Redman went back and forth between being waived and resigned to the practice squad. On January 6, 2010, Redman was signed to the active roster. Redman announced his retirement on August 22, 2014 because he suffered a career ending injury to his spinal cord.
