About Grant Teaff
Grant Teaff is the former head football coach of three college football programs, most notably Baylor University. He won a program record 128 games in 21 seasons. Teaff won the Southwest Conference title in 1974 and 1980. In 1974, he was also named the AFCA Coach of the Year and the Eddie Robinson Coach of the Year. On six occasions under his watch, the Bears finished ranked in the top 25. Teaff also had head coaching stints at McMurry and Angelo State. He started his coaching career as an assistant at Lubbock High School in 1956. Teaff also had stints as an assistant at McMurry and Texas Tech. When he left Baylor, he served as the executive director of the AFCA from 1993-2016. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.
