Geoff Ogilvy

Geoff Ogilvy is a professional golfer. Ogilvy turned professional in 1998 and he won a European Tour card at that year’s Qualifying school. Ogilvy played on the European Tour in 1999 and 2000 where he finished 65th the first year and 48th the second. Ogilvy joined the PGA Tour in 2001. In his first five seasons with the PGA Tour, Ogilvy finished in the top 100. Ogilvy recorded his first professional win in 2005 at the PGA Tour’s Chrysler Classic of Tucson. In 2006, Ogilvy won his first major championship at the 2006 U.S. Open and he became the first Australian to win a men’s golf major since 1995. In January 2010, Ogilvy won the SBS Championship and in 2014, he won the 2014 Barracuda Championship. So far in his career, Ogilvy has recorded 13 professional wins. He has won 8 PGA Tours, 4 European Tours, 4 PGA Tours of Australasia, and 3 Other Tours.
