Eugenie Bouchard

Eugenie Bouchard is a Canadian Professional tennis player. Bouchard began playing tennis at the age of 5 and at the age of 12, she and her mother moved to Florida to be coached by Nick Saviano. At 15, Bouchard returned back to Montreal for training. In 2005, Bouchard participated in the Open Star 12 tournament in Auray, France. Three years later in 2008, she won the ITF singles and doubles titles in Costa Rica along with the All Canadian ITF singles. The following year at 15, she won the Canadian undr-18 indoor championship. In 2011, Bouchard won her first and second professional titles at the ITF $25,000 and $10,000 respectively. The following year, Bouchard won her first professional doubles title at the $50,000 ITF tournament. In 2013, she made it to the third round at Wimbledon, but Carla Suarez Navarro defeated her. That same year, Bouchard was named the WTA Newcomer of the Year. So far this year, she has won her opening match at the Australian Opener, became the first Canadian to reach a Grand Slam quarterfinal since 1992 and she has been named WTA Most Improved Player.
