About Ellery Hollingsworth
Ellery Hollingsworth began snowboarding at the age of 6 and has been making a name for herself in the sport ever since. Hollingsworth attended Stratton Mountain School where she trained to be a professional snowboarder. She turned professional at the age of 15 and currently at the age of 23 is a part of the next generation leading the way in professional snowboarding. In 2009, Hollingworth made history when she became the first woman to ever land a 1080 on a quarterpipe. She has found her way onto numerous podiums including at the Burton U.S. Open, Burton Canadian Open, and a third place in the Sprint U.S. Grand Prix. Hollingsworth has narrowly missed chances to represent her country at the Olympics as a member of Team USA but continues to pursue her dream of Olympic glory.
