Drake Maye Biography

Drake Maye was an immediate star for the North Carolina Tar Heels. Maye became the starting quarterback as a redshirt freshman, going 6-1 in his first seven games with over 2,200 passing yards and 24 touchdowns against just three interceptions. Maye was a former MaxPreps North Carolina Player of the Year. His UNC connections run deep as his father, Mark, played quarterback at the school and his brother, Luke was a part of their national championship basketball team in 2017. His other brother, Cole, also won a national championship in baseball at the University of Florida.
