About Dorian Yates
Dorian Yates is a retired professional bodybuilder who competed in multiple events during the 1990s. Originally from England, Yates began as a professional in 1990 at the Night of Champions event. Yates’ biggest breakthrough came in 1992 when he won the IFBB Mr. Olympia event, eventually going on to win the event six straight times until 1998. This feat is ranked fourth in history behind Arnold Schwarzenegger, Ronnie Coleman, and Lee Haney. In total, Yates won 15 major contests and had two second place finishes. Yates ended his career in 1997 due to lingering injuries, but is still widely regarded as one of the top bodybuilders of the 20th century.
