About DJ Giddens
DJ Giddens is an NFL running back for the Indianapolis Colts. A late starter in football, playing only his freshman and senior years at Junction City High School, he rushed for 1,912 yards and 34 touchdowns as a senior, leading his team to the Kansas Class 6A state championship game. He went on to earn a football scholarship to Kansas State University.
As a starter in 2023 and 2024, he posted back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons, totaling 3,087 career rushing yards (third in school history) and 27 touchdowns, with a school-record 6.55 yards per carry in 2024. He earned All-Big 12 Second Team honors and was a Doak Walker Award semifinalist in 2024. Giddens also contributed as a receiver, with 58 catches for 679 yards and four touchdowns.
Selected by the Colts in the fifth round (151st overall) of the 2025 NFL Draft, Giddens impressed at the NFL Combine with a 4.43-second 40-yard dash time.
