About Deon Grant
Deon Grant played 12 seasons in the NFL with the Carolina Panthers, Jacksonville Jaguars, Seattle Seahawks and New York Giants from 2000 to 2011. Grant is an Augusta, Georgia native and played his college ball at the University of Tennessee from 1997 to 2000. During his time at UT he led the Volunteers to an NCAA National Championship in 1998 and led the NCAA with nine interceptions in 1999, which earned him consensus first team All-American honors. In the 2000 NFL Draft the Carolina Panthers selected him in the second round with the 57th overall pick. After four seasons in Carolina and helping them to an NFC Championship in 2003 he was traded to the Jaguars. After three seasons with the Jaguars and three years in Seattle with the Seahawks he signed with the New York Giants. During his time in New York he helped the Giants to a win in Super Bowl XLVI before retiring in 2011.
