DeMarco Murray

DeMarco Murray is the pride of Las Vegas, Nevada and starred at the University of Oklahoma before joining the Dallas Cowboys in 2011 as a third-round pick. While playing for the Sooners he rushed for 3,685 yards with 50 rushing touchdowns, caught 157 passes for 1,571 yards and 13 touchdowns and was their primary kick returner, finishing his career with 1,462 return yards and two touchdowns. Murray graduated in 2010 as the all-time Oklahoma leader in touchdowns, all-purpose yards, receiving yards by a running back and kick-off return average yardage. Upon joining the Cowboys in 2010 he signed a four-year, $2.97 million contract with a $622,000 signing bonus and has been worth every penny and then some. After rushing for a combined 1,500 yards and 6 touchdowns during his first two seasons he earned Pro Bowl honors in 2013 after rushing for 1,121 yards and nine touchdowns. The following year, he went back to the Pro Bowl and was named NFL Offensive Player of the Year after leading the league with 1,845 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns. Murray earned the final Pro Bowl nod of his career in 2016 and he retired from the NFL in 2018. He is currently the running backs coach for the University of Arizona Wildcats.
