About Delanie Walker
Delanie Walker is the pride of Pomona, California and was a two-sport star at Pomona High School, running track and playing football. In 2002 he signed to continue his football career at Mount San Antonio Community College and then transferred to the University of Central Missouri after one year. At UCM he became one of the best wide receivers in school history, breaking several records for receptions, yards and touchdowns. In 2006 he was selected in the 6th round of the NFL Draft by the San Francisco 49ers and went on to play the first six seasons of his career in San Francisco before joining the Tennessee Titans in 2013. The following season he broke the Titans franchise record for most receiving yards by a tight end with 819. Thus far in his career he has compiled 2,829 receiving yards and scored 18 touchdowns in eight NFL seasons at the tight end position.
