About Daryl Reaugh
Daryl Reaugh, nicknamed "Razor," is a former NHL goaltender from Canada and current color commentator for the Dallas Stars. Drafted 42nd overall by the Edmonton Oilers in 1984, he played in the NHL for the Edmonton Oilers, Hartford Whalers, and had a brief stint in the minor leagues. Transitioning to broadcasting, he became the popular color commentator for North Texas’ NHL team, known for his witty, engaging style and signature phrases. He also contributed to NHL on NBC and Hockey Night in Canada. In 2025, Reaugh received the prestigious Foster Hewitt Memorial Award from the Hockey Hall of Fame for outstanding contributions as a hockey broadcaster.
