Dannell Ellerbe

Dannell Ellerbe was an NFL linebacker who won two Super Bowl championships. Prior to his time in the NFL, Ellerbe was an all-state linebacker in high school, eventually signing to play his college career at the University of Georgia. Ellerbe redshirted his freshman season, then went on to play four more seasons at UGA, totaling 148 tackles, 8.5 sacks, three interceptions, and two fumble recoveries in 43 games. As a junior, Ellerbe was voted to the second team All SEC, and was selected to play in the East-West Shrine game as a senior. Following his graduation from Georgia, Ellerbe entered the 2009 NFL Draft, but went undrafted, signing with the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent. Ellerbe surprisingly served a large role with the Ravens as a rookie, starting three games and recording 41 tackles with an interception. For the next three seasons Ellerbe would play sparingly for the Ravens, but was a key factor in their 2012 playoff run and Super Bowl victory over the San Francisco 49ers. After the Super Bowl, Ellerbe signed with the Miami Dolphins, totaling 101 tackles and two interceptions in his first season with the team. He won his second Super Bowl with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2018.
