About Daniel Ricciardo
The Australian Formula 1 driver Daniel Ricciardo gained fame through his dynamic racing style and endearing personality. Daniel Ricciardo entered the world of karting at age nine in Perth Western Australia before advancing through junior motorsport competitions. Ricciardo started his Formula 1 career with HRT in 2011 before driving for Toro Rosso and Red Bull Racing and Renault and McLaren and AlphaTauri. Throughout his career, Ricciardo secured eight Grand Prix victories and 32 podium finishes.
In 2024 Ricciardo returned to Red Bull as a reserve driver before joining AlphaTauri for the rest of the season. His F1 career came to an end after the Singapore Grand Prix when Liam Lawson took his place at the team.
Ricciardo gained fame through his racing accomplishments while also becoming known for his entertaining personality which includes his victory celebrations with the "shoey" and his appearances on Netflix's Drive to Survive. Ricciardo left an enduring mark on F1 through his energetic personality and his many memorable experiences both on and off the racing circuit.
