About Dan Williams
Dan Williams is an NFL nose tackle who currently plays for the Arizona Cardinals. Coming out of high school, Williams was a three star prospect, eventually signing with the University of Tennessee. In four years as a Volunteer, Williams was named first team All SEC in his 2009 senior season after recording 62 tackles and two sacks. In total, Williams had 153 tackles and six sacks over his four years. Following his graduation from UT, Williams was considered a first round pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, eventually being selected with the 26th overall pick by the Arizona Cardinals. Williams played in 15 games as a rookie, totaling 37 tackles and two passes defended. The following year was Williams’ first year as starter, playing and starting in ten games while recording 20 tackles. In four seasons, Williams has recorded 145 tackles and two sacks, along with an interception returned for a touchdown.
