About Dan Campbell
Dan Campbell is the head coach of the Detroit Lions. Campbell gained great respect as a motivator in coaching circles and teacher of the game during five seasons on the New Orleans Saints staff as assistant head coach and tight ends coach. He began his coaching career with the Miami Dolphins, starting off as an intern in 2010 before moving on to coach tight ends and briefly serve as the team's interim head coach in 2015. Campbell was a natural to jump into the coaching ranks after a ten-year NFL playing career where he was able to carve out a niche as a team leader and blocking tight end.
