Curt Schilling Biography

Curt Schilling, one of the Boston Red Sox’s most famous right-handed pitchers. Schilling was born in Alaska in 1966 and attended both high school and college in Arizona. He launched his professional career in the Red Sox farm system, then with a Red Sox affiliate in the minors, and finally debuted in the majors with the Baltimore Orioles in 1988. Since retiring in 2007, Schilling has been involved in several endeavors. He has been a video game developer, broadcaster and conservative political commentator. Schilling spent several years as a prominent analyst for ESPN on Sunday Night Baseball. He also beat throat cancer in 2014 and is vocal about the dangers of smoakless tobacco.
