About Collin Klein
Collin Klein is the head coach at his alma mater, where he became a legendary player as well. He began his time at Kansas State as as wide receiver in the 2009 season and moved to quarterback the following season. While Klein is of Canadian descent, he was born in Loveland, Colorado and grew up there with two passions – musical instruments and football. Throughout his time as a Wildcat, Klein earned many admirable awards and set many records. He holds the single-season record for most rushing yards and rushing touchdowns by a quarterback, along with tying for the most rushing touchdowns in a single season by a Big 12 player with Ricky Williams. In addition, Klein was a recipient of the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award, The Kellen Moore Award, and received the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year award.
