About C.J. Stroud
C.J. Stroud is a star quarterback for the Houston Texans. Stroud was taken with the second overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. He originally made his presence felt as a redshirt freshman in 2021 for the Ohio State Buckeyes, finishing as a Heisman finalist. He was named the Big Ten's Offensive Player of the Year, Freshman of the Year and Quarterback of the Year. Stroud led Ohio State to a 10-2 record and a Rose Bowl win where he saved the best for last. He set Rose Bowl and Ohio State single-game records with 573 passing yards, while also tying the school best mark and setting a new bowl record with six passing touchdowns. Overall, Stroud finished the year with 4,435 passing yards and over 44 touchdown passes against just six interceptions.
