About CJ Carr
CJ Carr is a star quarterback for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. A consensus four-star recruit, he committed to Notre Dame in 2022. After redshirting and backing up Riley Leonard in 2024, Carr became the starter as a redshirt freshman in 2025, starting all 12 games, completing 66.6% of passes for 2,741 yards, 24 TDs, plus 33 rushing yards and 3 rushing TDs. He earned Shaun Alexander Freshman of the Year finalist honors and enters 2026 as a top returning quarterback nationally, a Heisman contender, and an emerging 2027 NFL Draft prospect.
