Chris Warren

After a promising high school career, Chris Warren took a scholarship to play football for the University of Virginia. After two years with the Hokies, Warren felt the fit just wasn’t right so he transferred to Division III Ferrum College to finish his college career. From there, he was drafted in the 1990 NFL Draft by the Seattle Seahawks where he spent the first eight years of his career. Warren used his elusive speed to get time as a kick returner for the Seahawks until he got his shot in the ’92 season. Warren took over the starting role and never looked back. He ran for at least 1,000 yards in four consecutive seasons, earning a spot in three consecutive Pro-Bowls. By the time Warren left the Seahawks in 1997, he had amassed 6,706 rushing yards which held the franchise record until Sean Alexander broke it in 2005. Warren spent four more seasons in the League with the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles but he never returned to the dominant runner he had been with the Seahawks.
