Chase Daniel

At the helm of Carroll High School in Texas, Chase Daniel led his team to a 31-1 record, 3 straight appearances in the State Championship and following the 2004 season a #1 National Ranking as well as individually being named EA Sports National Player of the Year. Despite his success and impressive numbers, Daniel wasn't heavily recruited by his #1 school, Texas, so he accepted a scholarship to play football at the University of Missouri. After serving his freshman season as a back-up, Daniel took over the starting role as a sophomore and never looked back. He compiled over 12,500 passing yards and 101 TDs in his 3 years as a starter, leading the team to a Cotton Bowl victory as well as a #4 National Ranking in the AP Poll. Daniel was also invited to New York as a finalist for the Heisman Trophy after both his junior and senior seasons, as well as being named a finalist for several other major awards. Daniel went undrafted in the 2009 NFL Draft due to concerns with his height but was signed briefly by the Washington Redskins before he signed with the New Orleans Saints where spent the next 4 seasons in a back-up role, winning a Super Bowl as a member of the 2009 team.Daniel has gone on to serve in a backup role with the Kansas City Chiefs, Philadelphia Eagles, Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions and now, Los Angeles Chargers.
