About Charles Reid
Charles Reid is a professional snowboarder who competes in slope style. Reid has been competing in halfpipe, slope style and big air for over a decade. Reid is part of a new breed of French Canadian shredders and he is making a name for himself on the Swatch TTR World Tour. At 19 years old, Reid has the legs of a seasoned veteran and he seems to only be improving. Reid’s big break came in 2006 when he placed fourth in the slopestyle at the 6Star Burton US Open. Reid found himself at the top of the TTR Ranks at the end of the 2007-08 season. Reid has dominated podiums around the world at high profile events. When he is not snowboarding, Reid finds time to film video parts. Reid represented Canada during the 2014 Winter Olympics, he landed some runs in qualifiers, but he was unable to stick a run in the semifinals to allow him to partake in the finals. He finished 22 in the Olympic Inaugural slopestyle event.
