Mark McMorris

Mark McMorris, a Canadian professional snowboarder born in 1993, has wasted no time pursuing his dreams. At a mere 21 years old, McMorris has already earned three gold medals, six silver medals, and one bronze. Known for his specialty in the slopestyle and big air events, he was the first ever to complete a move known as the backside tripe cork 1440. This monumental accomplishment led him to win back-to-back gold medals in the 2012 and 2013 Winter X Games. Throughout his young career, having turned professional at age 17 in 2010, McMorris has competed in the Winter X Games every year since. McMorris shares his passion for snowboarding with his older brother, Craig, who is also a professional snowboarder. Living his dream at such a young age, one can only imagine all that McMorris will accomplish throughout his lifetime.
