About Chandler Jones
Chandler Jones is a professional defensive end for the Las Vegas Raiders. In high school, Jones was a 2007 SuperPrep All-Northeast and PrepStar All-East Region selection. Jones attended Syracuse University where he was an All-Big East selection as a junior even though he only played in seven games as a junior due to injury. Jones announced that he would forgo his senior year at Syracuse and enter the 2012 NFL Draft on December 30, 2011.
The New England Patriots selected Jones as the 21st pick in the 2012 NFL Draft. On April 26, 2012, Jones signed a four-year contract with the Patriots. During his rookie season, Jones was immediately placed in the starting lineup as the right defensive end and he played in a total of 14 games. In his second season, Jones started in all 16 games of the 2013 season. During the 2014 season, Jones was converted to an outside linebacker for the Patriots. He helped New England win the Super Bowl that year and was named to his first Pro Bowl a season later.
Jones then signed with the Arizona Cardinals and became a two-time first-team All-Pro while garnering three more Pro Bowl selections in six years. He joined the Raiders in free agency in 2022.
