Casey Hampton

Casey Hampton was a former professional nose tackle for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the NFL. Hampton played football, and track while in high school. Twice he was named the District Defensive Player of the Year and in his senior year, he was named a Texas Class 5A All-State first-team selection. Hampton attended the University of Texas where he played for the Longhorns’ football team from 1997- 2000. During his senior year at Texas, Hampton was named Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year, First-team All-Big 12, and he was a consensus All-American. The Pittsburgh Steelers selected Hampton as the 19th overall pick in the 2001 NFL Draft. In his first three seasons with the Steelers, Hampton played in all 48 games. He spent his entire NFL career with the Pittsburgh Steelers and he was a 2x Super Bowl Champion. Hampton was also a 5x Pro Bowl selection, 3x AFC Champion, Pittsburgh Steelers Co-MVP and Pittsburgh Steelers All-Time Team selection. He was inducted into the Pittsburgh Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2013.
