Carson Foster

Carson Foster emerged as a top international swimmer through his quick rise to elite competition. Carson Foster entered the world of swimming at age six in Cincinnati Ohio on October 26, 2001 before developing his skills under coach Ken Heis at the Mason Manta Rays. After high school Foster attended Sycamore High School to develop his swimming abilities. Foster joined the University of Texas at Austin swimming team where he received 13 All-American honors while helping his team win various national titles.

At ten years old Foster achieved national fame when he shattered Michael Phelps' Under-10 100m butterfly national record. The 2019 World Junior Championships brought him four gold medals and one silver medal. Foster won silver medals in both the 200m and 400m individual medley events at the 2022 World Championships in Budapest while helping his team claim a gold medal in the 4x200m freestyle relay.

Foster competed for Team USA at the Paris Summer Olympics in 2024 where he secured silver in the 4x200m freestyle relay and bronze in the 400m individual medley while missing silver by only four-hundredths of a second.

Foster entered into a professional agreement with Mizuno in May 2023 that will extend until 2028. The Texas Pro Swim Group serves as his current training facility.

Foster married his high school love Meredith Wolf. The couple lives in Austin Texas while they chose Cincinnati as the location for their August 2024 wedding celebration following the Olympics.
