Cameron Wake

Cameron Wake joined the New York Giants in 2005 as a fifth round pick out of Penn State University.  During his days as a linebacker at Penn State he played both linebacker and defensive end and tallied 191 total tackles, 8.5 sacks and 24 tackles for a loss.  After an impressive showing at the Penn State Pro Day in which he ran a 4.55 second 40-yard dash he was selected by the New York Giants.  After one season with the Giants he signed a contract with the BC Lions in the Canadian Football League in May 2007.  He finished the 2007 season with a league leading 16 sacks and 72 tackles and earned both CFL Rookie of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year honors.  In 2008 he topped that performance by leading the league with 23 sacks in route to winning his second consecutive Defensive Player of the Year award.  After just two seasons in the league he was named to the CFL 2000’s All-Decade team.  In 2009 he signed a four-year, $4.9 million contract with the Miami Dolphins.  He built a lasting legacy in Miami, earning five Pro Bowl trips and four All-Pro selections in ten years. Wake ranks second in Dolphins history with 98 career sacks. He currently plays for theTennessee Titans.
