About Bryce Paup
Bryce Paup played 10 seasons in the NFL from 1990 to 2000 with the Green Bay Packers, Buffalo Bills, Jacksonville Jaguars and Minnesota Vikings. Paup grew up in Scranton, Iowa and played his college football at the University of Northern Iowa before joining the Packers as a sixth round pick in 1990. During his decade long career he earned four consecutive Pro-Bowl selections from 1994 to 1997 while playing for the Packers and Buffalo Bills. In 1995 he earned All-Pro honors and was named both the AP NFL Defensive Player of the Year and NFL Alumni Linebacker of the Year. Paup retired in 2000 with 545 career tackles and 75 career sacks to go along with 6 interceptions. After his retirement he became a successful high school football coach at Green Bay Southwest High School and joined the Packers’ Board of Directors. He is currently the defensive line coach at his alma mater, the University of North Iowa.
