About Boyd Duckett
Boyd Duckett is a champion angler and successful businessman. Duckett established himself as one of the primary figures in the world of professional fishing in 2007. During his illustrious career he has captured several impressive victories at a number of top tier events at the highest level of competition. His numerous victories include the elite series victories at Lake Dardanelle and Oneida Lake, the Bassmaster title and a second Bassmaster Classic “Super Six” finish in 2011 in New Orleans. Duckett continues to compete professionally on the BASS Elite Series Tour and at select FLW and Professional Anglers Association events. Duckett is also a founder of and competitor on Outdoor Channel’s Major League Fishing. As of 2014 he is ranked as the No. 2 all-time Bass Angler Sportsman Society single season earnings leader. Outside of competition he is the founder and CEO of Duckett Fishing, which is the first company to mass-produce fishing rods that utilize micro guide technology. He is also a talented singer, songwriter and motivational speaker, with an enthusiasm and knowledge that keeps audiences entertained and engaged.
