About Andy Bloch
Andy Bloch is a professional poker player with one World Series of Poker bracelet. At the 2006 WSOP, Bloch finished 2nd in the 50,000 H.O.R.SE. and the 286 hand showdown was the longest recorded in WSOP history. He has earned over three million dollars on the WSOP. Bloch also won the second season of Ultimate Poker Challenge. He was a member of “Team Full Tilt” before the online gambling site Full Tilt Poker shut down in 2014. Bloch has an impressive academic history with two electrical engineering degrees from MIT and a doctorate from Harvard. There have been two books written about the blackjack team Bloch was on, Bringing Down the House and Busting Vegas. His blackjack acumen was also featured in the documentary The Hot Shoe. Bloch also made his own instructional DVD, Beating Blackjack. He is a very charitable person, donating 100% of his Full Tilt Poker profits as well as several portions of his haul from professional tournaments.
