About Ameer Abdullah
Top prospect, Ameer Abdullah was born June 13, 1993 and is a running back for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Nebraska. In 2013 he rushed for 1690 yards, which is the fourth best in Nebraska history. He decided not to enter the NFL draft at the end of his junior year, but instead to return for his senior season. He was considered a contender for the 2014 Heisman Trophy. He is a native of Homewood, Alabama. Abdullah was a second-round pick of the Detroit Lions in the 2015 NFL Draft. He spent part of four seasons with the franchise and led the league in kickoff return yards as a rookie.
