Alix Klineman Biography

Alix Klineman is trying to keep the legacy of American dominance in beach volleyball alive. After the retirement of Kerri Walsh Jennings, Klineman teamed with April Ross to form the top U.S. beach duo. As an individual, she won the AVP's Best Blocker Award in 2018 and 2019. Klineman was also named the AVP's Most Improved Player in 2018. With Ross, she won AVP Team of the Year in 2018 and a World Championship silver medal in 2019. Klineman originally was an indoor volleyball player that was a four-time All-American at Stanford. In 2015, she was inducted into the Southern California Jewish Sports Hall of Fame.
