October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and all throughout sports, there are efforts to advocate for early detection and education. Several athletes have lost love ones to breast cancers and have become powerful allies in the fight against the disease. These sports stars make great speakers at a variety of breast cancer events, women’s health seminars and cancer fundraisers.
