Washington Redskins Quarterback Kirk Cousins Holds D.C.-Area Youth Camp in June

Washington Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins has firmly entrenched himself as the team's starter.  As the face of the franchise, he has become a big star in the D.C.-metro area.

Cousins will ride that popularity into his summer youth camp.  The Citi Kirk Cousins ProCamp takes place June 11-12 at South County High School in Lorton, Virginia.

Each day, the camp runs 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for kids in grades 1-8.  For a registration cost of $199, attendees receive a Cousins autograph, team photo, and camp t-shirt in addition to excellent football instruction.

In 2015, Cousins started all 16 games and thew for 4,166 yards along with 29 touchdowns.  He led the Redskins to the NFC East division title for the first time since 2012.

Cousins led the NFL by completing 69.8 percent of his passes.  He set Washington franchise records for completion percentage and passing yards.

Prior to assuming the full-time starting role, Cousins had seen limited action in his first three NFL seasons.  Washington selected him in the fourth round of the 2012 NFL Draft out of Michigan State.
