U.S. Men’s National Team Player Brek Shea Helps Launch UberFamily Service in Orlando

While the Orlando City Soccer season kicks off on Sunday, this week star player Brek Shea took some time out to help Uber launch their latest service.

Shea and his baby, Phoenix, were the first passengers in Orlando on the UberFamily service on Wednesday.  UberFamily elminates the hassle of traveling with a car seat.

Riders can now request the service and have an Uber car with car seat already installed arrive.  All current Orlando car options are equipped with the UberFamily service.

Shea is set to begin his second season with Orlando City.  While he saw action in just 19 games for the club last year due to injuries and international call-ups, it is his goal in 2016 to stay healthy and lead the squad to the playoffs.

Prior to arriving in Orlando, Shea started his MLS career with FC Dallas, playing five seasons with the franchise.  In 2011, he scored 11 goals and made the MLS All-Star team.

Shea also spent time on loan for three seasons with English Premier League side Stoke City.  To date, he has made 34 career appearances for the U.S. men's national team.
