On Saturday, Baker will connect with her supporters with a special in-town appearance at Swim Gear.  She will be at the store from 9:30-11 a.m.

At the appearance, Baker will take photos and sign autographs.  There is certain to be a big line, so showing up early would be advised.

Baker scored two medals in Rio.  She won gold as a member of the U.S.'s 4x100 individual medley relay team and grabbed a silver in the 100 meter backstroke.

At the U.S. Olympic Trials, Baker qualified for the Games by finishing second in the 100 backstroke.  Last year, she swam at the University of California and finished second in the 200 yard IM at the NCAA Championships.

Most impressively, Baker has been able to accomplish her goals in swimming while suffering from Crohn's Disease.  Her Olympic wins brought a significant amount of awareness to Crohn's and served as inspiration to others who share her affliction.
