Top NFL Safety T.J. Ward Hosts Youth Skills Camp in Denver Next Month

Fresh off a Super Bowl championship, it is a busy offseason for Denver Broncos safety T.J. Ward.  He also has two major events ahead of him this summer.

First up, is Ward's "FUNdamentals" youth skills camp on June 4th at Denver School of Science and Technology.  From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., campers ages 8 through 13 will learn basic football skills.

The camp is open to the public and those interested in attending can register via Ward's website.  On July 18th, he will host his annual celebrity golf tournament in Aurora at Blackstone Country Club.

Ward is one of the top safeties in football.  He was a Pro Bowl selection in both 2013 and 2014 while also being named a second-team All-Pro in 2013.

Last season, Ward recorded 61 tackles for the Broncos top-ranked defense.  In the Super Bowl, he returned from an ankle injury to notch seven tackles and an interception.

The Broncos signed Ward in 2014 after he spent the first four seasons of his career with the Cleveland Browns.  He played at powerhouse De La Salle High School in California and at the University of Oregon as well.
