Texas A&M Football Coach Kevin Sumlin Makes Appearance at Brazos County Alumni Event

Being that it is the county College Station resides in, Brazos County is the epicenter of Texas A&M passion.  On Thursday, Aggie fans will get a treat when football coach Kevin Sumlin speaks at Brazos County A&M Club Coach's Night presented by Rollo Insurance.

Each year they hold the special evening to serve as a fundraiser.  The club raises money for scholarships for Brazos County students to attend A&M.

Doors to Coach's Night open at 5:30 and the main program begins at 7:30.  Those who graduated from Texas A&M from 2007-2016 pay just $50 to attend while general admission tickets are $75.

Since arriving in College Station four years ago, Sumlin has revitalized Aggie football.  Under his watch, the team has won at least eight games each season.

In Sumlin's first campaign, the Aggies went 11-2, won the Cotton Bowl and finished fifth in the country.  He was named 2012 SEC Coach of the Year for his efforts.

Prior to coaching Texas A&M, Sumlin served as the head coach at Houston.  In that time, he was named Conference-USA Coach of the Year twice and the Cougars won two C-USA West titles.
