Tennis Star Maria Sharapova Holds Book Tour This Week

Tennis star Maria Sharapova's new book, Unstoppable: My Life So Far, was released on Tuesday. She has had a whirlwind press tour this week and has also been making several appearances. 

Sharapova's first book signing took place on Tuesday at the Barnes and Noble on Fifth Avenue in New York City. The next night, she held a conversation with well-known news anchor Katie Couric at 92nd Street Y in the city. 

Yesterday, Sharapova was at the Greatness Summit in Columbus, Ohio. She is wrapping up her events tonight at 7:00 p.m. with a book signing at the Barnes and Noble at The Grove in Los Angeles. 

Sharapova has been the top ranked women's single player in the world for a total of 21 weeks in her career. She became the third youngest woman to win Wimbledon at the age of 17 in 2004 and became number one for the first time the following year. 

Sharapova has won the career Grand Slam and is a two-time French Open champion. She has captured 35 WTA Tour singles title and won an Olympic silver medal in 2012. 

From 2003-15, Sharapova won at least one singles title. She was the WTA Player of the Year in 2004 and has won the ESPY Award for Best Female Tennis Player four times.
