Watch company Tag Heuer may be the first corporate entity to take advantage of the hoopla surrounding the 2015-16 English Premier League champions Leicester City.  They have signed the club's manager Claudio Ranieri as their latest brand ambassador.

This agreement comes on the heels of pact Tag Heuer agreed to to become the Official Timekeeper and Official Watch of the Premier League.  The watchmaker says that Ranieri is the perfect embodiment of their #DontCrackUnderPressure slogan. 

Ranieri will appear in promotional campaigns for Tag Heuer.  They have at least one other notable endorser from the international soccer world on their roster with superstar Cristiano Ronaldo having been with the company since 2014.  

After being a 5000-1 longshot to capture the Premiership at the start of the season, Ranieri artfully guided the club to the title in his first year as manager.  It was the first major division championship of his 26-year managerial career. 

Ranieri has managed clubs across Europe.  Prior to assuming his post with Leicester City, he was manager of the Greece's national team. 

Prior to his year, his most signifcant success arguably came with Chelsea.  He led the Blues to the semifinals of the UEFA Champions League and a runner-up EPL finish during the 2003-04 season, laying the groundwork for the club's future succes.
