Softball Icon Jennie Finch Holds Autograph Signing in Texas

Over the weekend, softball icon Jennie Finch met with some of her adoring fans in Sugar Land, Texas.  She held an autograph signing at the Academy Sports and Outdoors in town.

There were over 100 tickets sold for the signing.  Finch also took the time to pose for photos.

The signing was an opportunity to display her line of Mizuno equipment as well.  Finch has worked with the company for 12 years.

Finch was well known as an ace for Team USA.  She won Olympic gold in 2004 and took a silver at the 2008 Games before retiring from international competition.

Professionally, Finch spent five seasons with the Chicago Bandits.  In her first season with the club, she went 14-0 and won National Pro Fastpitch Co-Pitcher of the Year.

Finch first gained a large following as a star at the University of Arizona.  She helped the Wildcats win the 2001 Women's College World Series and has her #27 jersey retired by the softball program.
