Serena Williams Highlights Speakers List at the NFL's Women's Summit

The sustained excellence of Serena Williams on the tennis court is one of the most impressive feats in sports today.  Williams will join a group of distinguished speakers harping home the point of sports influence at this year's NFL Women's Summit "In the Huddle to Advance Women in Sport".

The summit will be held in advance of Super Bowl 50, February 4-5, in downtown San Francisco.  Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is the opening keynote speaker.

Other notable women from the world of sports like Billie Jean King, Annika Sorenstam, and Jen Welter will also speak.  Commissioner Roger Goodell's wife, former FOX News anchor Jane Skinner Goodell, will moderate the panel, "Media, Entertainment and Sports as a Platform".

Williams is currently getting ready for her seventh Australian Open final after beating Agnieszka Radwanska in straight sets yesterday.  She is ranked number one in the world and will be looking for her 21st Grand Slam singles title, which would tie Steffi Graff for second all-time.

Last year, Williams had one of her most complete seasons.  She won the Australian Open, Wimbledon and the U.S. Open on the way to being named Sports Illustrated Sportsperson of the Year.

Williams is a seven-time WTA Player of the Year, six-time ITF World Champion, and four-time Associated Press Female Athlete of the Year.  She has also won four Olympic gold medals and 13 Grand Slam titles with her sister Venus.
