San Antonio Spurs Point Guard Tony Parker to Speak at Ronald McDonald House of Corpus Christi Gala

There is no denying how beloved the San Antonio Spurs are throughout central Texas.  This fall, point guard Tony Parker will head down to Corpus Christi to be the guest speaker at a local Ronald McDonald House event.

Parker is the speaker for the 2016 Casa de Amor fundraiser on September 1st.  The event will be held at the Ortiz International Center beginninig at 6:30 p.m.

Individual tickets cost $250.  Table prices range from $1,500 to $15,000 with special VIP opportunities to mingle with Parker.

Parker has been one of the Spurs stallwarts in their run of dominance.  The six-time NBA All-Star has long been considered one of the best point guards in basketball.

With his tremendous on-court wizardry, Parker has anchored four NBA champions.  In 2007, he averaged 24.5 points per game in a four-game sweep of the Cleveland Cavaliers and became the first European-born player to win NBA Finals Most Valuable Player.

Parker has been named to the All-NBA second team on three occasions.  San Antonio originally selected him in the first round of the 2001 NBA Draft.
