Russell WIlson Teams up with Macklemore for Bose Headphones Commercial

It has potentially been the most challenging season of Russell Wilson’s career on the football field, but the Seattle Seahawks quarterback remains a marketing star off of it.  A spot for Bose headphones where he teams up with Seattle-based rapper Macklemore has been running throughout the fall.

The commercial chronicles a day in Wilson’s life as Macklemore serves as narrator.  It ends by informing the public that “Music Deserves Bose”.

Macklemore’s single with Ryan Lewis “Downtown” also closes out the ad.   It is the second national ad spot for Bose that has featured Wilson.

In his fourth season, Wilson is set to put up some of his best numbers as a pro.  Through ten games, he has thrown for 2,378 yards and 13 touchdowns while completing over 67% of his passes.

Wilson has led the Seahawks to two straight Super Bowls, coming out victorious in Super Bowl XLVIII.  He also went to back-to-back Pro Bowls to start his career.

After a banner collegiate career, Wilson was selected by Seattle in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft.  That first season, he was named Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Year after tying Peyton Manning’s rookie record with 26 passing touchdowns.
