One of the NHL's rising stars is holding an autograph signing in his home market this summer.  On August 27th, Vancouver Canucks right wing Jake Virtanen will be in Langley, British Columbia for the session.

It takes place from 12-3 p.m. at Pastime Sports and Games.  There will be a professional photographer on site and people can purchase Virtanen Canuck jerseys.

Tickets are free with any purchase of a jersey or photo from the store.  They will be on sale in advance of the signing until August 25th. 

Virtanen just finished his first NHL season and at the age of 19 he was one of the youngest players in the league.  He saw action in 55 games for the Canucks and registered 13 points. 

Vancouver made Virtanen the sixth overall pick in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.  He was the first British Columbia-born player drafted by the franchise since 1983.  

Virtanen played his junior hockey with the Calgary Hitmen.  For Canada, he is a two-time medalist at the IIHF World Championship in the U18 and U20 divisions.
