Retired NFL Great Michael Strahan Headlines FUEL: Detroit 2016

Pro Football Hall of Famer Michael Strahan has become as popular as ever and a true pop culture crossover in recent years.  Strahan is the headliner for the second annual FUEL: Detroit leadership event.

The event will be held April 21st from 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the MotorCity Casino Hotel.  General Admission tickets cost $495 while VIP admission is $895.

Other dignitaries like homemaking icon Martha Stewart, retired astronaut Mark Kelly, and New York Times bestselling author Marcus Buckington will also speak.  They are all expected to provide presentations that will motivate business leaders and high achievers.

Strahan has parlayed football excellence into a successful post-sports career in television.  He is the co-host of "Live! with Kelly and Michael" and an analyst on "FOX NFL Sunday".

For 15 seasons, Strahan terrorized quarterbacks with the New York Giants.  He racked up 141.5 sacks, which is good for fifth in NFL history.

In 2001, Strahan also set the single-season records for sacks with 22.5.  That season he was the AP NFL Defensive Player of the Year.

During his career, Strahan was a seven-time Pro Bowler and four-time All-Pro.  The Giants won two NFC titles and Super Bowl XLII with his help.
