Reigning Super Bowl MVP Von Miller Hosts Denver Area Youth Camp in June

While still basking in the glow of Super Bowl glory, Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller will host his annual youth camp next month.  The Safeway and Albertsons Von Miller Football Pro Camp takes place June 21-22.

From 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., campers in grades 1-8 will get expert football training from Miller and other coaches at Englewood High School.  In addition, they will receive an autograph from Miller, camp t-shirt and team photo.

The camp has already generated significant interest and is currently sold out.  Those interested are allowed to join a waiting list in case a spot becomes available.

In Super Bowl 50, Miller recorded two forced fumbles and 2.5 sacks on the way to MVP honors.  It capped a season in which he was named to his fourth Pro Bowl and picked up his second first-team All-Pro nomination.

Miller has been wreaking havok on offenses since his rookie season.  That year, he was named AP NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year after recording 11.5 sacks.

In Miller's second season, he set a Broncos franchise record with 18.5 sacks.  Denver originally selected him second overall in the 2011 NFL Draft after a Texas A&M career that saw him twice named a first-team All-American.
